Pelvic Floor Therapy is available in Anderson Township and Fort Thomas and general Physical Therapy is only available in Fort Thomas.

At this time, due to telehealth licensure issues, Nutrition Counseling may not be available for residents of all states. Please email Kasey@queencitypelvichealth.com for more information and to book a Nutrition Counseling evaluation.

Pelvic Floor Therapy

Therapy focused on solutions for pelvic pain, bladder and bowel disorders, sexual dysfunction, and pregnancy and post-partum conditions.

Rakhi is an occupational therapist with over 12 years experience who has specialized in pelvic floor therapy since 2018. She has a strong interest in managing pelvic health issues for all genders, including bladder, bowel, and sexual dysfunction as well as issues surrounding pregnancy/postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause. She utilizes a biopsychosocial framework to managing pelvic health dysfunction and treats the whole person with a mind-body approach and focus on mental health as it may contribute to pelvic health conditions. She is skilled with manual therapy and trained in dry needling as an optional modality. She also utilizes pain science and nervous system downtraining techniques to manage stubborn pain issues.

Alex has been a physical therapist since 2014 and has specialized in Pelvic Health since 2021. She completed her training and education in Pelvic Health through the American Physical Therapy Association and has completed advanced coursework in the areas of obstetric and post-partum physical therapy, pelvic pain, bowel dysfunction and the treatment of male pelvic health conditions. Alex enjoys working with all genders with a variety of diagnoses and conditions. She not only understands the physical and biomechanical nature of pelvic floor dysfunction, but also the emotional and psychosocial implications involved, in order to treat patients as a whole person. Alex is also trained as an instructor in mat and reformer Pilates through Balanced Body She is passionate about pelvic health and exercise and ready to work with you to improve your quality of life.
